P&K CONSULTING
Refund Policy

Guaranteed work. Never guaranteed scores.

This page says exactly when money comes back, and it is written to be read, not buried. The short version: three days to cancel free, no billing before work, and refunds measured against the written scope.

This policy is drafted for attorney review and reconciliation with federal and state law. Final language publishes before launch.

The guarantee, stated plainly

If we complete a full service cycle on your file and fail to perform the work your contract describes, you get your money back for that work. That is a promise about our effort and process. It is not, and legally cannot be, a promise about scores or outcomes. Anyone guaranteeing you a score is breaking the law.

Your three-day right comes first

Federal law gives you the right to cancel a credit repair contract for any reason within three business days of signing, in writing, with no penalty. That right sits above everything else on this page and is printed inside the contract itself.

After work begins

Once a round of work is performed, that work is billed and earned. Cancelling mid-plan stops future rounds and future billing. You are never billed for rounds that have not happened.

What we need from you

The guarantee holds when the plan is followed: keep monitoring active so results can be verified, forward bureau mail within five days, avoid new negative items, and respond to requests within a reasonable window. The file is a partnership.

The fairness principle

We do not keep money we did not earn, and we do not refund money we did. Every refund decision is resolved against the written scope in your contract, which both of us signed.

A hard truth about guarantees

Companies that promise specific score jumps use the promise as bait and the fine print as the exit. Our guarantee is narrower and real: the work happens as written, or that work is refunded.

Inactivity and reactivation

If we cannot reach you for 60 days, the file pauses. Pausing protects you from paying for rounds that cannot move without your documents. Reactivating a paused file may carry a reactivation step, detailed in the contract.

How updates work

Bureaus answer challenges on roughly 30-day clocks, so files move in rounds of about 45 days. After each round you get a plain-English update: what was challenged, what answered, what happens next.

Proof of address and identity

Bureaus require identity verification before they act. Early in the engagement we will ask for ID and proof of address once, so every later round moves without friction.

Monitoring access

Three-bureau monitoring stays active through the engagement. It is how you watch progress happen and how deletions get documented for billing. If monitoring lapses, rounds pause until it is restored.

Best practices while we work

Pay everything current on time. Keep balances low. Open nothing new without asking. The plan tells you exactly which habits protect your specific file.

Read it all? Good. That is the point.
